Terms of Use
The terms on which this website is made available, and the limits of what its content represents.
Effective date: [EFFECTIVE_DATE] · Last reviewed: [EFFECTIVE_DATE]
1. Acceptance of these terms
This website is operated by IABP (Innovate Accounting & Business Progress). By accessing or using it, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
2. Website content is not professional advice
The content of this website is provided for general information only. It is not accounting, audit, tax, legal, investment or other professional advice, and it must not be relied on as a substitute for advice that takes account of your specific circumstances, jurisdiction and applicable regulatory framework.
Professional standards, legislation and regulatory requirements change. IABP makes no representation that website content is current, complete or applicable to your situation.
3. No engagement or professional relationship
Using this website, submitting an enquiry, or receiving a reply does not create a professional engagement or a client relationship with IABP. An engagement arises only when scope, responsibilities and terms have been agreed in writing between you and IABP.
Please do not send confidential or privileged information through the website forms before an engagement is agreed. Information sent before that point is not treated as confidential client information, though it is handled under our Privacy Policy.
4. Regulated services
IABP does not represent itself as a statutory audit, tax, legal or other regulated professional firm in a jurisdiction unless appropriately authorized to provide such services. Service availability depends on the nature of the assignment and applicable local professional, regulatory and licensing requirements. Where local authorization is required, assignments are performed or supported through appropriately qualified and authorized professionals or firms. See the full Professional Services Disclaimer.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the website for any unlawful, fraudulent or misleading purpose;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, the client portal, or any system or network connected to them;
- introduce malware, or otherwise interfere with the operation or security of the website;
- use automated means to scrape, harvest or systematically extract content, except for legitimate search-engine indexing;
- submit false, misleading or third-party personal information without authority; or
- reproduce, republish or commercially exploit website content except as permitted below.
6. Material you submit
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you submit and for having the authority to submit it. By submitting material, you confirm that it does not infringe any third-party right and that it contains no malware.
We may retain submissions as described in our Privacy Policy, and may decline to act on any submission at our discretion.
7. Intellectual property
All content on this website — text, graphics, logos, page design, diagrams and downloadable material — is owned by IABP or licensed to it, and is protected by intellectual property law. The IABP name, logo and brand elements may not be used without written permission.
You may view, download and print website content for your own internal, non-commercial reference, provided you keep all proprietary notices intact. Any other use — including republication, redistribution, modification or incorporation into another work — requires our prior written consent.
8. Third-party links and content
This website may link to third-party sites, including the client portal environment. Those sites are not under our control. We provide links for convenience only and do not endorse, and are not responsible for, their content, availability, security or privacy practices. Your use of a third-party site is governed by that site's own terms.
9. Availability
We aim to keep the website available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of the website for business or operational reasons, without notice.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, IABP is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, this website or its content, including indirect, consequential, special or incidental loss, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of goodwill or loss of data.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Liability arising from a professional engagement is governed by that engagement's own terms, not by these Terms of Use.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify IABP against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these Terms of Use or your misuse of the website.
12. Privacy
Personal information collected through this website is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which form part of these terms.
13. Changes
We may amend these terms at any time by posting a revised version on this page. The effective date shows when they last changed. Continued use of the website after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Bangladesh have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, except where applicable consumer or mandatory local law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
Note for counsel: confirm the governing law and jurisdiction clause for each target market before publication, particularly for the EU, UK, Australia and Canada.
15. Contact
Questions about these terms should go to info.iabp@gmail.com, or by post to IABP, House # 12/1/10 (2nd Floor), Road # 2, Shyamoli, Dhaka-1207, Bangladesh.
